I live practically next door to Culloden battlefield of Jacobite Uprising fame, where in 1746, the Stuarts' highly legitimate claim to the throne of Britain was finally thwarted when forces loyal to Charles Edward Stuart – more commonly referred to as Bonnie Prince Charlie – faced their final defeat against the mostly English soldiers supporting the new Hanoverian dynasty.

I wasn't intending to create a composition about this, but when I wrote this energetic Scottish-sounding piece, this was the first thing that came to mind.

From Norway, but living in Scotland, I am a poet, artist, designer, photographer, and long-time dabbler in music.

I love playing traditional music from Brittany, Norway and Ireland, as well as my own compositions.
